Spring festival
Chinese spring festival is a great tradition for our chinese people, a good chance for family reunion, for friends to gather together, and most of all, for children to have fun!
My husband is a sociable guy, good at organizing fellows to meet, and naturally, our home is venue of the confluence. My husband, short, yet handsome, versatile, and to my great contentment, having taste of living. He is able to cook, to make dumplings, to roll noodles, which bring him a lot of praise from friends, to me, sort of shame unspoken. I am comfortable with that anyway.
On spring festival, three families gathered with ours, we had great time, having lunch, playing chess, singing in the KTV room nearby, setting off firecrackers, watching the displays of fireworks and having dinner. My husband's colleague, a guy handsome and tall, skillful in social gathering too, proposed children show games of themselves, which echoed well from all guests. Three children fulfilled far better than we anticipated. My daughter read an touching and instructive story named "poverty is the best universtity", the other two children told jokes. We had belly laugh and we all enjoyed a lot spiritually while we had dinner.
What touched my heart most was that, one of the child, a little bit retarded because of her parent's reproductive problem, yet she was confident, optimisitic, and most encouragingly, she was happy. When her turn was come, all of us held our breath, waiting, worrying, anticipating a due and understandable failing, yet she did not fail us at all, she paused a little while, then apparently, she thought earnestly and gave us a good answer every time. It was great. I felt relieved at this propitious sign, and I was moved by my fellow friend's good nurturing of the girl, an auspicious sign of the girl's future, and their family as well.
What an intersting and unforgettable spring festival!
