Dear Diary,

Today is Mothers' Day. My mother looks very happy, because she recieved a surprising gift. I went to school this morning, after school, I ran to watch the list of the winners in a well-known math competition. I remembered that I took the exam on April 19th. I was very nervous when I saw the list, that my nuckles got white. Suddenly, I saw my name on the list. Oh my god! It's the first prize! I was very, very, very surprised, and also, I'm very excited. I didn't expect that I would get a first prize, but a second prize, third prize, maybe, as my math is not so good. But it is a joyful thing, whatever. I ran back to home and told mom this good news,. At first, she's so surprized, she didn't think I can take a first prize, too, As I didn't do much exercises during the revision. But then she was so happy, and said ,"this is the best Mothers' Day gift I've ever recieved!" I am very happy to see my mom so happy, too. It's a good day today, isn't it?
