下面的单词不是我整理的，是VOA官方推出的高频词汇，因为都详细讲解的话太多了，而且也没有必要。所以我稍微精选了一下。体育词汇将在VOA这个词汇讲解结束以后继续推出。

这就是所谓修订宪法啊,或者增加一些条款什么的.mend大家应该都很熟悉吧,是修理的意思.

ammunition - n. the bullets or shells fired from guns 弹壳吧,这个词我之前也不认识呢,和大家共同学习了

archeology - n. the scientific study of past human life and activities artillery - n. big guns
考古学~~记得同学常说要考北京大学的考古学，也不知道那个专业到底怎么样的，让我很神往啊~~可惜，偶的地理太糟糕了。。。。此生无缘

asylum - n. political protection given by a government to a person from another country
这个是精神病院的意思。记得我在看一篇关于爱因斯坦的文章里有学到这个词。当时是说她的一个儿子神情恍惚，最终到了要住到精神病院的地步

cabinet - n. a group of ministers that helps lead a government
内阁~~~这个经常听到的。还有说傀儡政府，那就是Puppet Cabinet咯~~orz。。。被人当作木偶来操作，那感觉肯定不好受吧。。

case (court) - n. a legal action
这个么，case study这个词最近好像比较流行的，就是个案研究啦~~大家要不要偶给你来个个案分析呢？呵呵

case (medical) - n. an incident of disease ("There was only one case of chicken pox at the school.")这个也是“例”了。比如这里的例句，学校里仅有一例水痘患者。

clergy - n. a body of officials within a religious organization
(集合称)圣职者, 牧师, 僧侣, 神职人员~~这个看到知道和宗教有关就好了。。。不太用得到

coalitionn. forces, groups or nations joined together
这个是今天的TIME时代周刊天天学的词汇哦，这里就重复介绍了，点此查看〉〉

convention - n. a large meeting for a special purpose
（政治、宗教、政党等的）会议， 大会； 全国性大会； 召集， 集会
协定， 公约

这两个是什么意思呢？答对有奖哦！

demonstrate - v. to make a public show of opinions or feelings ("The crowd demonstrated in support of human rights."); to explain by using examples ("The teacher demonstrated the idea with an experiment.")
常用词汇~记牢咯~~

deplore - v. to regret strongly; to express sadness
悲悼, 痛惜；悔恨 ~~这个单词似乎很适合最近的这种氛围了。。。还是说句，我们还要继续坚强地笑对人生~~

dissident - n. a person who strongly disagrees with his or her government
持不同政见者~~有点反政府的感觉。。。

execute - v. to kill
这个。。这个是处决，有点残忍哪。。。

exile - v. to force a person to leave his or her country; to expel; n. a person who is forced to leave his or her country
驱逐某人离开他的国家~~这个蛮惨的哦~~背井离乡的日子，苦啊~（虽然似乎我离开上海最长的连续时间也只有1个星期。。。）

extremist - n. a person with strong religious or political beliefs who acts in an extreme or violent way
极端分子，大家不要go to extremes 哦~~be neutral，呵呵~这两个也是要猜猜中文意思的哦~~

grind - v. to reduce to small pieces by crushing
磨[碾]碎~~让我想到了某碎纸机。。。

guerrilla - n. a person who fights as part of an unofficial army, usually against an official army or police 这个词我喜欢的~~游击队，hoho~~中华民族的骄傲
