---- BBC Camp in Soli’s Eyes
When Soli first stepped into this never-never land of BBC Camp, two days after the emergence of noppycat, he was totally infatuated with everything, especially the scary and challenging 5-minute-long dictation. As Starry, hoohoo and noppycat only posted their feature-length “homework” everyday without superfluous words, the camp was thus coated with uncanny and sublime hue, mirage-like. Take a comparatively objective viewpoint, Starry was an admittedly fetching existence at that time, notwithstanding he was faceless, I mean, he had no avatar, he was still conducting the charming act by virtue of unbelievable accurateness and patience, not to mention his bottomless pit of knowledge. he is a humdinger, warts-and-all, in many aspects(nudge-nudge, wink-wink). And hoohoo, was an out-and-out girl Friday for Starry, the big boss, the camp-leader.
I still remember Soli’s first dictation post in BBC camp was a sofa-post. If my memory serves me well, he could have made some cheatings, I mean he was most likely to start the dictation for a while before posting the listening material thread, or he, still wet behind the ears, could by no means outpace hoohoo, the time-honored sofa-queen. And no doubt, this revealed the filthy nature of Soli. ^^*
So it began. Starry sent a short message to Soli, lavished compliments plus a twisted bit of demands for improvement like spacing one line between paragraphs to make the whole passage more pleasing to the eye. Soli felt extremely flattered. As an invitation short message from the almighty Melodious transformed Soli, a garden-variety netter, into a jittery BBC 1-min-News columnist, this time, Soli clearly heard his visceral sighs. He had taken note of the imminent change of his “decadent” lifestyles. Looming large was the assimilation, and he was ready to accept it. Farewell, to the relaxing hours of relishing beautiful mm pictures in intranet forum, to the exciting hours of playing Wars, Counter-Strike, etc.
With Soli and noppycat joined, the comprehensive combat power of BBC Camp got reinforced. Soon, more and more lurkers came to the surface, and BBC Camp began to rise in the boom-and-bust circle, and was approaching the peak. All the unprecedented prosperity shall be from the active efforts made by Starry, like his irresistible trilogy “Madman’s Ravings” and many other behind-the-screen short-message-sending doings. Apparently, Starry was just irradiating goodness at that time as a qualified and dutiful camp-leader, but later we knew, a grand to-the-people-and-for-the-people plan was incubated, in Starry’s very core of evil nature.
