ahu主持的21－25课得到了大家的支持，在这里表示感谢！不过捏，原创课文是要付出很多很多精力滴，而且大家的练习完成以后，ahu还要对大家的练习进行评点，仅仅ahu一个人的精力是远远不够滴。所以针对现在这个复杂滴情况，ahu决定继续精简课文，每课针对3－5个语言点重点练习，重点讨论；然后根据大家练习中出现的各项弱点重点讨论。每个语言点都有例句和相关资料，筒子们做完练习以后请根据评点去小组讨论哈。完成练习奖励红包100，小组讨论奖励100！奖励直至新课文出现为止。Ahu一直认为复习讨论比学习更加重要，因为英语是个不断重复才能记忆的过程，欢迎大家踊跃提问，踊跃讨论！

No one can avoid being influenced by advertisements. Much as we may pride ourselves on our good taste, we are no longer free to choose the things we want, for advertising exerts a subtle influence on us. In their efforts to persuade us to buy this or that product, advertisers have made a close study of human nature and have classified all our little weaknesses.
Advertisers discovered years ago that all of us love to get something for nothing. An advertisement which begins with the magic word FREE can rarely go wrong. These days, advertisers not only offer free samples but free cars, free houses, and free trips round the world as well. They devise hundreds of competitions which will enable us to win huge sums of money. Radio and television have made it possible for advertisers to capture the attention of millions of people in this way.
During a radio programme, a company of biscuit manufacturers once asked listeners to bake biscuits and send them to their factory. They offered to pay $10 a pound for the biggest biscuit baked by a listener. The response to this competition was tremendous. Before long, biscuits of all shapes and sizes began arriving at the factory. One lady brought in a biscuit on a wheelbarrow. It weighed nearly 500 pounds. A little later, a man came along with a biscuit which occupied the whole boot of his car. All the biscuits that were sent were carefully weighed. The largest was 713 pounds. It seemed certain that this would win the prize. But just before the competition closed, a lorry arrived at the factory with a truly colossal biscuit which weighed 2,400 pounds. It had been baked by a college student who had used over 1,000 pounds of flour, 800 pounds of sugar, 200 pounds of fat, and 400 pounds of various other ingredients. It was so heavy that a crane had to be used to remove it from the lorry. much as = although = though, 尽管，引导让步状语从句
as引导让步状语从句，句子要倒装（ adj. / adv. / n. / v.用在as之前）:
1)．adj. + as + 主语+ 谓语
Rich as he is, he is not happy. 他尽管富有，却不快乐。【真滴亚？那就快点让额们也这样不快乐起来吧～】
Tired as I was, I tried to help them. 尽管很累，我还是试着帮助他们。
2)．adv. (much ) + as + 从句
Much as I like you, I will not marry you. 尽管我如此喜欢你，我还是不会嫁给你。【because my parents exerted the pressure to me。。女孩子要学会这句话啊，拒绝别人时候的好理由哈～～;p】

Object as my parents may, I decide to marry you. 不管我父母如何反对，我都决定嫁给你。【咔咔，这个态度才是对滴嘛～～】

The university prides itself on its beautiful campus.
