The American civil rights leader Jesse Jackson has apologized for what he called regretfully crude remarks. He he made about the Democratic presidential candidate contender Barack Obama. While waiting to appear on Fox news, Mr. Jackson whispered to a follow fellow guest “I want to cut his nuts off.” for talking down to black people. Mr. Jackson was unaware his microphone was switched on. Mr. Obama has accepted Jesse Jackson’s apology. Oliver Conway reports.

Jesse Jackson made commons the comments in what he thought was a private conversation with a follow fellow guest before a television interview. He was criticizing Barack Obama for what he called speaking down to black people join during his recent speeches in black churches on morality. Reverend Jackson says there are other important issues should to be adjusted addressed in the black community such as unemployment, the mortgage crisis and the number of blacks in prison. But he has now apologized for what he called the crude sound bite.
