在美国，人们平时拼命工作挣钱，但是假期里总是会去度假。一般的中产家庭每年几乎都要花一笔不小的开支出国度假。没有条件的家庭也要度假，不过会采取不同的方式，有些家庭甚至带足日常所需开车出去野营。苏珊和父母两年前来到中国，今年暑假他们一起回到美国度假。而奥斯汀一家由于年初才来中国，所以没有回国。奥斯汀羡慕的询问苏珊的经历。

notes：
1: how is …：……怎么样？经常用来询问别人的工作、学习、生活。例如：How is your work recently?最近工作怎样？
2: a ton of fun：非常快乐。有一吨的快乐，当然快乐了。“ton”用复数有许多的意思。例如：tons of apples，大量的苹果。
3: fly down to：英语里有些词是有方向的，down此处指向南。
