When We were called Sick man of Asia, We were called The Yellow Peril.
When We are billed to be the next Superpower, We are called The China Threat.
When We were closed our doors, You smuggled Opium to Open Markets.
When We embrace Freed Trade, You blame us for Taking Away Your Jobs.
When We were falling apart, You marched in your troops and wanted your "fair share".
China was broken into pieces. And You killed, burned, maimed and looted,
Just go to the British Museum and the French Museum, you will find the proof.

Never again, we said, We stood up and fought for our survival.
And piece by piece we put our nation together again,
All of a sudden, "Free Tibet" you screamed, "it was an invasion!"
Never mind that those who shouted caused the original suffering and pain.

When We Tried Communism, You hated us for being Communists
When We embrace Capitalism, You hate us for being Capitalists.
When We have a Billion People, You said we were destroying the planet.
When We are tried limited our numbers, You said It was human rights abuse.
When We were Poor, You think we are dogs.
When We Loan you cash, You blame us for your debts.
When We build our industries, You called us Polluters.
When we made you consumer goods, You blame us for global warming.

When We buy oil, You called that exploitation and Genocide.
When You fight for oil, You called that Liberation.
When We were lost in Chaos and Rampage, You wanted Rules of Law for us.
When We uphold law and order against Violence, You called that Violating Human Rights.
When We were silent, You said you want us to have Free Speech.
When We were silent no more, You say we were Brainwashed-Xenophobics.

Why do you hate us so much? We asked.
"No," You Answered, "We don't hate You."
We don't Hate You either,
But Do you understand us?
"Of course We do," You said,
"We have AFP, CNN and BBCs..."
What THE HELL do you really want from us?
Think Hard first, then Answer...
Because you only get so many chances,
Enough is Enough, Enough Hypocrisy for this one world.
We want One World, One Dream, And Peace On Earth.

关于CNN“道歉”内容的评价：

I did not see any apology from CNN. It simply said that if you felt insulted then we are sorry.

I do not think Cafferty should apologize - he is simply not capable of doing that. He did not direct his comments toward the Chinese government. He is too much of a racist to be able to make such a distinction.

CNN please stopped whitewash Jack Cafferty's comments. His racist comments were directed towards the more than 1.3 billion Chinese people and should be condemned.

CNN提升收视率的噱头？

Everybody should just chill out, this is obviously another one of CNN's publicity stunt; say a few controversial words, cause an uproar, apologies and Cafferty makes his mark.

To give Cafferty some credit, he probably had to read quite a few reviews on ''Tripadvisor' to come up with such sophisticated words, goons, thugs and junk...his boyfriend must be so proud.
Just remember, human rights is so objective, depending on where you're from, where you've been and what you think you know. Don't judge because is trendy, no matter how many text books you read, the truth only comes from your own encounter.

If the Chinese government are "goons and thugs"--assuming Cafferty did not really mean the Chinese people--that what would he call Western governments which led the illegal invasion of Iraq in 2003 and, before that, 12 years of economic santions that were described by two UN Assistant Secretary Generals as "genocidal"? Over one million Iraqi children have been directly or indirectly killed due to Western actions on sovereign Iraq. As well, what about Western support for Israel's military occupation and apartheid of the Palestinians? Israel runs down Palestinian protests with tanks, indisrcriminate sharpshooters and F-16 bombs, mostly supplied by America. What Israel does to the occupied Palestinians -- from stealing their land to killing over 1,000 Palestinian children since September 2000 -- is far worse than what a massive country like China is doing to the far larger population of Tibetans INSIDE China. A minority of Tibetans have been using the Olympics to gain publicity.

关于中国出口劣质商品问题的漂亮回击：
If Americans would pay more, then they would get their jobs back. If China gets more expensive, which it has, there is always India, Vietnam and other low wage places that Wal-mart goes to... how do you think they can offer the lowest price. In my view, unless Walmart goes, you are not getting your jobs back. And let us not forget the fact that Americans were the ones that nearly wiped out the Indigenous Indians, had slave labour, treated Chinese immigrants who built the railroads poorly and sold Opium. Maybe that was the past...how about the recent sub-prime mortgages, Enron, junk bonds, internet bubble...stuff sold to other countries' pension funds? Does it mean that the US are all crooks? Look around you, if you don't want Chinese goods and components, throw it out. Since we make junk, I would love to see you dump your car, TV and other stuff that you have. Then go buy one that has nothing to do with China. I would be interested to see how you survive...good luck.

拉萨动乱对比伦敦，洛杉矶，巴黎三起暴动：
What happened on March 14 2008 was a serious riot in Lhasa, Tibet where the rioters killed, burnt, robbed and beaten up innocent people. The riot were worst than the riot in London 1990, but not as serious as the riot in Los Angeles 1995 and the one in Paris 2005. In all the three cases happened in the western world, the western media were quick to condemn the violent riots. The ways that Polices in LA and Paris in restoring law and order were rather high handed at that time. But no one accused them of “cracking down peaceful demonstration”. What happened in Tibet on the 14th of March was quite similar to those three riots I mentioned earlier, but the treatment from the western media was a world of difference.

The western media can fool us and the rest of the world in those days when CNN, BBC, Reuters, AP, etc had the monopoly of the media. Thanks to Phoenix (A Chinese CCN counterpart) and Al Jazeera and yes the internet, no one can cover a lie for long these days. We should be thankful to the few westerners (one Australian, one Canadian and one French) tourists who were at Lhasa to witness and video the happenings then. By the time when all their videos were put on YouTube, the cat was let out of the bag. The western media should run for cover for their shameful and distorted reports. But would they repent and change their attitude? I doubt.

中国缺少的，是玩转媒体的花招：
What China is lack of today is the smooth skills to play the international games in politics, media, democracy, and public relation like America. Once China finish its learning curve in a few more years (yes, a few more years), this hyperpower will dominate international games including CNN. Probably, CNN will become a subsidiary of "Chinese News Network" soon.

Rob, wherever people have power, some abuse it. China has problems, but every time I go back, China has improved by leaps and bounds. The Chinese are richer and more free every year. When I go back to America or the UK, they're a little poorer and a little less free.

When you were in China, Rob, did you see machine gun toting, jackbooted stormtroopers patrolling the streets? Did you see CCTV cameras on every street corner? Did innocent foreign guests have to worry they'll be shot in the head on the subway by the police? How about in London or NYC?
