I watched “Memoirs of a Geisha”, a very nice movie, last evening. One of the major themes of this movie is about “water”, i.e., “water is powerful”. Here, water is not referring to “women are made of water” but to water in “水灵灵的 anxious eyes” as I described in my memoirs of “Encounter with a bright angel”. I found it difficult to translate the Chinese characters 水灵灵的 into English while I was writing my memoirs. After watching this movie, I guess now people can translate the words into “anxious eyes with powerful water”.
I wished and hoped to see a happy ending of the story about 5 to 10 minutes before the end of the movie. I got what I wished for and my eyes got tiny water too. The movie was powerful.
