Today, as usual, I came to the mountain,Si Hua, which is over 1000 feet high and 1 mile away from where I live, where I used to climb with my father when I was a kid .Before taking up that activity with my father , I often regarded climbing as a simple  work that I could easily accomplish.However,the first day of climbing turned out to be an unforgettable day.

           Having packed with all we needed ,we set out to the mountain at dawn.After 30 minutes' walk, we arrived at the foot of the mountain.With the hope to show my father how strong I was and how easy the job he gave me, I ran fast along the narrow road toward the summit of  the mountain .''I can make it'' I said to myself. But after a little  time, I was soon out of breath. 
           Though a little tireness,it could not stop me.I wiped the sweat on my cheek and coutinued going.
            When I reached the middle of the mountain,finally, I found myself exhausted.I tried to move my feets,even an inch .But they seemed reluctantly to do that.  
Realizing there was still a long road to go, I began to think of giving up and sat down under a tree.
          "What are you doing here, are you going to give up ?"said my father in a loud voice ,who was just walking slowly past me.
           "I don't want ,but..." I replied.
            " If you have determination and preservance , success will certainly come to you,isn't it "Never Give Up" your motto? (just joking) , the beautiful scene of the top of the mountain is awaiting you."my father tried to encourage me.
            Inspired by my father's words, I felt a huge engery pouring into my body, recovering from the exhaustive condition.I made up my mind to go on  the rest .
            After half a day of climbing, the summit was very near.That was a spectacular and imposing place.From up here, the landscape was breathtaking and unusual; some houses were scattered around the hill ,birds were swooping down all around me ;the rising sun was glinting on the  flowers and trees that surrounded me. At that moment , I found I seemed to entered a entirely new world.
            I was so glad I could arrive at the peak of the mountain  that I almost forgot my tireness. My preservance was finally paid off. I had a picture taken for marking my first time to climb the mountain successfully as a child.The picture is still kept  in my room now. 
             Having Seen  the magnificent sight  and learned an important lesson from that day which had great influence on my study life later , I considered it an unforgettable day,symbolizing my new start.
