Actually I can 用中文打字 but when it comes to writing it's pretty tough. 


What kind of input method do you use?
Is it hard for you to type in Chinese? Are you good at PinYin.

You can listen and speak Chinese perfectly, but only feel tough on writing--This actually means your way of learning Chinese is correct and natural! 
Why people here can read but can't speak English? Wrong order!

I guess before you went to elementary school, you already can speak English and Chinese perfectly. Then when you were in school, all your lessons were taught in English, weren't them? Science, Math, Music, the English language....
Am I right?

Maybe you are so strange. I so puzzle the reason why you can read and speak, but very hard to write Chinese. Why? Can you tell me some details? Thanks! Best wish to you!

it's cool u wtrie in Eng for it's the language we r desperate to master here. As a guy born and reared completely in China. i assume the only GOOd way to learn Eng is to break away from our mother tongue. Minimize the frequency of using Chinese to translate English,instead, paraphrase. 

  personally,i really enjoy reading your blog 'cause they are all in english,it's a great way to help me gradually develop a sense of the tongue,that's nice.just like you mentioned,a lot of chinese english learners have no problem reading and writing,but when it comes to speaking,things are different,did you notice that you said you can speak both chinese and english pretty well,however,you got problem in writing in chinese,that's quite different from quite a few of chinese learners problem and i guess that is they very outcome of chinese education in the field of language,don't you think?

i don't think it's strange that David is good at speaking and reading of Chinese more than that at writting. As we all know, Chinese is very hard to write. While english is only 26 leters.

David uses real english.thank him for letting us see its beauty.as for the reason for why he can not write in chinese,it is so easy to be understood.David went to school in USA NOT in China,i mean in schools he used english almost the time.so how could he learn more about writing in chinese?sure you can say why he can speak and read english?it is a simple question.dont forget,he lived in a bilingul family and learned to shift btw chinese and english.and he didnot need to know how to write or read chinese.he just needed to listen to and speak chinese.how ever,now he can read chinese too because he learned it,and he focused not writing but reading.this is why he can read very well but not write not well.this is why David prefers to write in english in his blog because it is his fasted way to express himself in his blog in front of computer.Am i right?
