1.If possible we’d like to ask for reduction of 5,000.50 Per MT。这句是争议点最大的,关于reduction of,有些人理解是降低到5000.5,有的人理解是要求再降低5000.5,其实当我翻译的时候,我也不犹豫不定,到底是降低了还是降低到?经过我查关于商务方面的资料,其实是reduction of 是指在原来的单价的基础上降低的金额。也就是说整句的翻译应该是:可能的话,我们希望每公吨降低5000.50。
2. 关于260句中的to place further order with you,其实按照我个人的理解,应该是长期的合作,因为很多时候我和我的供应商谈的时候,经常会说,如果你们的价格,服务符合我们的要求的话,我会考虑我们会长期合作的,………进一步合作其实也正确,我想应该在第一次合作成功后所做的决定。纯属个人理解!
3. 对于商务英语双方,一般即使是I一般也会翻译成我们,你们,贵司,我司,很少出现我,你这样的字眼,因为一般个人都是代表公司去谈判的,是站在公司的立场上,而不是个人的立场上说。
