             B: I didn't catch it when she was introduced .

hand it to ya ：    恭喜你   ya=you

e.g. <1>I have to hand it to ya.I mean that is a great party.

come through   ： 帮了我一把,一个大忙

e.g. <1>My brother really come through when he lent my the money to pay for college.

      <2>Thanks for driving me to work this morning,you really came through,I would have been late.

throw it all away ：  浪费机会

e.g. <1>He was a great success until he threw it all away gambling.

      <2>You could do so much with your lift. So don’t quit school and throw it all away

till the end of someone's days ：   直到一辈子最后一天

e.g. <1>He lived in the same apartment till the end of his days.

so long   ：   再见（分别很长的时间）

a way out of this mess   ：  摆脱麻烦的出路； mess：在这儿指不好的事情

e.g. : <1>The traffic is terrible today,we need to find a way out of this mess.
