[译]他们同意免费把损坏处修好。
[正] They agreed to repair the damage free of charge.
[注] cost 和 charge 都有“费用”的意思，cost多指生活费用，如living cost（生活费），而 charge 常用于服务行业中的收费，“免收费用”应为“free of change。”
2．[误] The car crashed into a tree and suffer a sevre damage.
[译] 汽车撞到一棵树上，损坏严重。
[正] The car crashed into a tree and suffer severe damage.
[注] damage 指“损害、毁坏”为不可数名词。当它指“损害赔偿”时用复数：The insurance company refused to pay him damages.

正误分析：
1、free of charge(=at no cost):
Eg1.All the books were given away free of charge.
Eg2.Your order will be delivered free of charge within a ten-mile limit.
2、suffered-->sufferred（×）sufferd的过去式俩都是对的。
3、crashed into-->crashed on（×）固定词组，意思为冲入,闯进,撞到。
