A quarrel which happened at my age of 10 has been fossilized in my memory .My father left an impressure on me was a guy who was a bad-tempter, stingy, always regarded a penny as jewelry .And he often shouted at mom and me when he was drunken .So, I began to tremble when I saw him whether he was drunken or not.
It was a rainy day .Mom and some relatives were going to buy some presents for my cousin who would marry to her boyfriend. Without enough money at hand, so mom along with me returned home to take money. "Mom, can you take me with you? I want to go see those beautiful toys." "Of course, sweetheart." mom nodded. "Thank you, mom." I said with a smile. "Wait, where are you going?" suddenly a man's voice came from behind, which made me frightened because I knew it's my father. Slowly I moved my steps behind my mom, caught the blouse's corner of hers. "Nothing else. I only intend to prepare a present for Hilly for her wedding." mom said in a soft voice. "What? You take my money to buy presents for others? "he suddenly cried. "What did you say? For others? she is your relative .It's such a human nature to buy it for her, right?" mom asked confusingly. "Shut up!" he shouted, while his eyes shining red and face turned flaming red. I felt scared, trembling my hands and legs. "What should I do, to stop him or escape from it?" I was in a state of chaos. "Are you crazy? Don't you know how hard I earn it?" "But I...."mom wanted to say something, but she was interrupted by him. "Stop, go out if you insist doing it." he shouted angrily. I couldn't stand the fear. So, quickly I ran away from my house and went to my cousin's home to watch TV. "Am I right?" On my way there, I asked myself again and again. I knew the quarrel would stop if I cried or said something in the presence them. However, I did't do that.
Towards evening, I went back home secretly. I heard mom crying at bed. "Mom, are you OK?"I whispered. Mom didn't say a word to me .I felt regret so much when I knew dad slapped mom .I should have stopped them and everything wouldn't happened. It was my fault. "Mom, please, forgive me .I won't do it like this." I begged. After a while, "Don't do that, again, OK?" mom said in a low voice. "Thanks, mom. I promise.”
Even though the thing has passed many years. It,however, has been in my mind forever. It teaches me that I must face the fact, not escape from it.
