I was wandering at the online store of Shanghai Bookmall yesterday evening, as the book coupons are about to expire. I have to use them up by the end of December.
Buying books when not in need of them is really a hard job. Moreover, the online store doesn't have the same variety of books as what are displayed at the real store. The books I might need couldn't be found, while the books I checked one by one didn't cater to my need at all.
Well, since I didn't have much choice, I picked some recommended books close to my taste.
With this single purchase, I would probably have set my course for the upcoming year. Oral English Interpretation, finally, fell in my target. Besides, consolidation of utilisation of French would also be in my schedule. Updating of computer related knowledge couldn't be ignored either. It is the market of bear now, I should learn something about economy, about currency and about the way to invest money properly and efficiently.

等车也是一种艺术

寒风中，一个人像根冰棍一样杵在车站等那遥遥无期的公交，让人顿悟：“其实等车也是门艺术。”
当5分钟的公交两车间隔被视作正常，10分钟称为“沓班”，20分钟源于特殊情况例如堵车、事故或者交通管制，30分钟属于某人运气好的话，那么等45分钟的车，就是作孽了。
堂堂大上海，想必外环之内未必找得到像60路这样的线路吧。这牛皮不是吹的，6点后全线运营不超过4辆车，让人把等车看作是受罪。
站在车站上，看着同站其他线路的车开走一辆又一辆、一打又一打的时候，怎样才能在候车过程中始终保持“不急不躁、不愁不闹、心中不存在调整路线改乘其他公交的心理”呢？这就是一种艺术，或曰技术吧。
1、泡书店。车站旁有书店，进去晃悠晃悠，为了不误车，随时注意窗外情况。在书香中好好把握那漫长的45分钟，同时为大脑充充电。
2、逛商店。门口铺位反复逛啊逛，逛到别人以为你是偷儿为止，走太深得误车。
3、咖啡。买杯咖啡找个靠窗位子坐下，细细品味咖啡醇香的同时还能及时发现那“下一班”车的踪迹。
4、MP3、MP4。256M的MP3从头听到尾，小电影反复看。
5、发呆。只有发呆，时间才是FF的，说不定当你突然清醒的时候，车子已经在你面前了。
一次，终于，4X分钟过了，车子来了，尾巴冒着浓烈的废气，车厢里满是柴油味，连把手上也是。
另一次，车子没开多远，一股子塑料烧糊的味道钻入鼻孔，我靠，842 No.2，撤！
“司机，你出车前没检查过啊！”

（以上为5次等车的不同经历，但那40分钟up的候车过程都是相同的。）

After 15 mins of waiting, I successfully got on the bus No. 60, but the atmosphere in the cabin was really awesome. The outside temperature was no higher than 25 degrees, while the one inside the cabin seemed higher than 28. It proved to be the malfunction of the A/C system.

3 stations since I got on, the bus had been moving more and more slowly, as the driver looked having difficulty in shifting the gears. Finally, the bus stopped at the center of a street cross and could not be started over again.

With difficulty, the driver started the bus again mins later. Gradually, passengers claimed they smelt a strange smell like something plastic being burned, esp. we sitting at the rear of the bus. People became anxious, asking the bus driver to stop the bus and open the door, while nagging over the tragic Shanghai 842 bus burning disaster, which happened only half a mile away from our accident location. We ran out of the cabin in order, covering our mouths and noses with handkerchief, tissue or hands, as the smell was strong enough to make a person vomit.

When the driver was trying to restart the engine, the smell became stronger. Some people began exclaiming, saying that the bus could explode. All passengers walked out of the red zone in a few seconds.

I could hardly wait another 20 mins for the next bus, so I took a taxi home.

A usual 20-minute journey took me an hour.

LX AFFAIR

It's always true that the more you expect, the more disappointed you will be if your expectation perishes.
LX is one of those expectations. All the staff gathered in the meeting room watching TV. We, including several foreigners, wanted to witness the other time of the glorious achievement made by LX. We had been waiting from 11 o'clock until around 11:50 when LX came into our eyes, who were doing the practice for the real match in the training hall. He looked all good then.
Minutes later he showed up on the course of the stadium, warming up, with his walking gesture looking strange. Some of my colleagues screamed out:"Is he crippled?" That looked true.
Athletes were getting ready at the score, among which LX was carrying some grimace. We had a feeling that something bad might happen.
Then it was the coup de feu, LX ran out with a little lead, but somebody jumped the gun, all the athletes returned to the score. LX looked even more painful. "He quitted", one of our guys cried.
Yes, he quitted finally. A splendid debut was followed by a sad quit. We were all lost. We lost the chance of having good lunch, and we lost a chance to witness a centurial competition.
Anyway LX's quit was quite reasonable, and we had all prepared for that, but what made us unexpected is the way he quitted, so embarrassing.
My Mama will certainly be disappointed when hearing the news.

鉴于数字吉利，小小纪念一下

顺便谈一下通货膨胀。
3年前也就是2005年的夏天，HJ上寥寥几十万人，其中能称得上富家子弟的，兜里也就10万多HY。那时候，除了个别几个HJ的大大们，由于加班加点劳苦功高，工资稍高而兜里鼓鼓囊囊外，一般的沪友兜里能有个7、8万HY就算是很幸福了，毕竟10万HY就能上富豪榜了----不过，那时候的猪肉是6-7块钱一斤尽挑好的。
现如今，翻开HJ富豪榜，看到的数字令人有点咋舌了，二三十万HY几乎没有，五六十万刚刚够用。似乎外界的通货膨胀和物价上涨因素已经波及到了HJ内部了。不知是HJ的GDP加速增长了呢，还是HJ的monetary inflation剧烈膨胀了，我等这些苦苦做题的人~看来得狮年象月才能得道在HJ富豪榜上晃悠一圈喽----不过，现在猪肉是20多块一斤还不能挑肥拣瘦的。
无奈啊无奈，通货膨胀让人难。

حطمت الشبكة المنطقة المحلّية مرّة الأخر غدا اسبوعا بعد استخدام المدير الشبكة بمركز إدارة الممتلكات. هذه احد قرار لا يتّخذ اّلا عندما من المستحيل لنا ان نستخدم الشبكة، لكن لا شخص في الشكرة يري اّن التوظيف نجاح لأن لم يجيء المدير ليسّجل وتوّقع الإتّفاق بعد التقديم نفسه عند الإجتماع.
لا يمكننا ان نعمل بدون الشبكة الإنترنت، فكان كّل فلان يقلق ويرجو انها يصلح حالا، لكن هناك المشكلة عنمن سيصلحها.
كنت أجد الكمبيوتر يأثر الشبكة الجميعة لأضمن إستعمال الشبكة في شركة وحيدا، وكنت أنجح.
فقال لي مدير مركز الإدارة لو أريد ان أقبل التوظيف لإدارة الشبكة في المبني، لكن ما اسمع لو سيدفعي أجرا للأمل. اري الأجر لتنظيف هكذا لا يمكن ان يكون قليلا، واما ما اري عن المهمّة، هناك كثير من عمل لأكمل لو أقبل التوظيف الجديد. لولا اقبله، سأفقد الفرصة لألعب الآلات في غرفة الإدارة المركزية.

فما ينبغي لي ان اختار؟

La classe recoomença ce semaine. Je choisai quatre cours ce semestre. Ils sont la parole de l'anglais pour le commerce extérieu, l'interprète de l'anglais du commerce, l'histoire moderne de la Chine et l'utilisation de l'ordinateur en système administratif.

Il ne m'a pas semblé que cette cours étaient difficiles au première abord, mais après que j'ai pris tous les quatre cours ce semaine, je trouvais ils ne sont rien faciles, par exemple, j'ai imaginé que le cours de la parole d'anglais se devais être facile car je travaillais comme un interprète à ma compagnie. Et quand je suis allé à la classe pour prendre le cours ce jour-ci, je sentais la difficulté, parce que j'avais de la peine à suivre le professeur.

Le temps devient de plus en plus chaud, mon enthousiasme aussi. Il me faut faire tout à réaliser mon objectif final.

"اهلا و سهلا بالعزيز الغالي......", such familiar lyrics turned up in my dream last midnight, but I was so soundly asleep that I didn't realize it had been the ringtone of my mobile phone until that big bang of my SMS alert.

Awaked suddenly at 23:45, I checked the display of my phone, it was the pretty Miss. Freight Forwarder, and it came to my mind instantly that something unfortunate or bad might had happened or was just taking place. Briefly reading the SMS, I was proven right as the designated loading program of one container would have to be re-scheduled due to some technical problem, which was so technically complicated that no one in the Forwarder Company taking care of my business hadn't noticed it until last midnight.

It was said that one batch of declared goods at Customs could only go along with one Commodity nspection Bill No., but this time I had more than two CIBs directed to two different commodities. Searching at GOOGLE®, I found the similar content in the Customs Documentation No. 68 of 2007.

Then it came the problem. How could I get another set of dox of including the Verifying and Canceling Sheet for Foreign Exchange and the stamps on the Customs Declaration Trust Deed?

The most vital problem aroused with the re-scheduling would be the shortage of time of Customs Clearance. As a result of either the complexity of my commodity names or the laziness and incompetence of the Customs Broker Service guys, every batch of my cargoes could hardly finish its clearance within 8 hours. And the deadline of port entry would be 3 o'clock Monday.

Bewildered and tired, I have kept looking for solution to this mind-consumpting problem.

J'ai connu quelque nouvelle du sienne. Elle m'a semblé mauvaise. On a dit que l'ami du sien n'etait pas un grand homme comme je l'avais pensé avant. J'ai été foudroyé après avoir toute la nouvelle. Elle m'a appris à comprendre l'essence d'amour que le temps ne l'ai pas changé, mais c'est la distance, je crois, qu'a altéré lentement l'amour. Je commençai à detester cet homme-là.
