节目介绍
大家好，新节目继续……。这个节目的主要资料来源是新东方的一款口语软件，里面所涉及的内容都来自于中国学生和英语native speakers的谈话，与英语native speakers用英语交谈是迅速提高英语会话能力的好方法。节目里会提供一些常说的话题，并提供相应的对白范例，相信你信手拈来，稍加改变和替换，和别人聊这些话题肯定没问题。
节目的对话部分会给出常见错误和参考答案。常见错误是由英语较差的同学说的，在这里给你立此存照，以免你重蹈覆辙，针对这些错误还有些点评，让你把拦路虎认个清楚。而参考答案是由英语熟练的同学说的，要学习他的正确表达哦！

Advice to Rent an Apartment

David：I want to ask you for a favor. I want to rent an apartment here in Beijing，but as a foreigner，I don’t know the normal practice. Can you give me some advice? （我想请你帮个忙。我想在北京租一套公寓，但我是外国人不知道该怎么找。能不能给点建议呢。）
You： First, why don’t you tell me what you need, such as how big a room, where you want to live, whether you want to live in downtown, and what you like to do. Then I can figure out which apartment is most suitable for you.（首先，你得告诉我你想要什么样的公寓，比如房间要多大，想住在哪儿，是不是要住在市区，有什么爱好，然后我才知道什么样的公寓最适合你。）
David：I am a student and want to live in Haidian, so that I can live close to my school. I like to play soccer and I like a quiet apartment so I can study.（我是个学生，想住在海淀，这样离学校近点。我喜欢踢足球，想要一个安静的公寓来学习。）
You： 我觉得两居室带一个厨房的公寓就很适合你。我可以介绍学校附近一处公寓给你。在七楼，非常安静，很适合学习。
David：That sounds great! （听起来不错。）
You： 你可以去学校的操场踢足球，说不定你还可以交到一些中国朋友。公寓离市场很近，内部设施也不错。
David：Thank you so much, that’s very kind of you.（非常感谢，你太好了。）

常见错误及点评（点击查看）常见错误：I think you are suitable for renting an apartment which has two rooms including a kitchen. And I can introduce a place where is nearest to your school. It is on the 7th storey. So this apartment is very quiet and very suitable for your study.
点评：
我们说某物或某种情况适合某人，而不是倒过来说某人适合某种情况。例如：
That color matches your eyes perfectly. It really suits you.
这种颜色和你眼睛的颜色很相配，真得很适合你。
Introduce: 当给某人介绍某个新的地方时，我们说“introduce a person to a place”, 而不仅仅是“介绍”某个地方。例如：
I found a great new bar and I can’t wait to introduce you to it.
我发现了一个新的非常好的酒吧，我迫不及待得像介绍你去。
参考答案：I think that an apartment with two rooms and a kitchen would suit your needs. I can introduce you to a place for rent near your school. The apartment is on the 7th floor, so it is very quiet and suitable for studying.

常见错误及点评（点击查看）常见错误：You can go to the school’s playground to play your soccer and maybe sometimes you can make Chinese friends there. It is very near the market and you can get the comfortable facilities.
点评：
踢足球就是“play soccer”，而不是“踢谁的球”。如果说“play your soccer”，就好像在说你踢的是某种特殊的足球，这显然是不对的。
“交朋友应该是一直持续的，并不能说有时去交朋友，有时不去。用“sometimes”修饰，显然不对，我们可以说“有时”吃水果，“有时”坐出租车，但绝不会说“有时”交朋友。
参考答案：You can also go to the school’s sports field to play soccer, and if you’re lucky you might make some Chinese friends there. It is right near the market and has comfortable facilities.
点评： “if you are lucky”是一种戏谑的说法，意思是说“如果你走运的话，盼望已久的事情就会发生。”
