It was a very beautiful movie indeed. Another attracting aspect of the movie was the actress Zhang Ziyi. In the west, she is considered a fox. What do you think?
它实际是部不错的影片，另外一个看点就是女主角章子怡。西方人认为她很有魅力，你怎么看？

：她当然要比一班人漂亮。但是怎么说呢，既然是影星，总会吸引很多的注意，所以她自然会非常注意自己的形象。其实，真实的她不过是个平凡的女人罢了！

I wouldn’t say that. Aside from her beauty, I believe she has some real talent which makes her even more attractive.

常见错误
：Maybe the movie’s director just target the audience in foreign countries and I think the director should pay more attention to the opinion of Chinese audience.
and：and后面的部分有明显的语意上的转折，所以应用一个表转折的连词过渡。这里用了however，也可用but。
pay more attention to：注意区分“pay attention to”和“take … into account”。前者是“注意……”，通常接较为具体的名词（studies, the audience等）；后者为“把……考虑在内”，多与较为抽象事物搭配使用。从本句句意来判断，说话人是想说“导演应更多考虑中国的观众是怎么看的才对”而不是“注意”的含义，所以用“take … into account”较好。试着通过下面的例子再体会一下两者细微的差别：
My parents told me I should pay more attention to studies, than to girls. Because they think I should take my future more into account. 我的父母告诉我要注意的不是女孩子而是学习，他们认为我应当为自己的将来着想。
参考答案：Perhaps the director just wanted to target western audiences. However, I think the director should have taken the opinion of the Chinese audience more into account.

常见错误及点评（点击查看）常见错误：Some might think that the movie has some points of traditional Chinese movies, but the Chinese audience can see clearly the director want to please the western audience. Western audience maybe like the typical, or traditional Chinese color, such as music, in this movie, and the color of the image. I think it is made by the foreigner, not by the Chinese people.
think：注意到在修改后的范文中使用了“but to me, it seems like …”的句式，所表达的是“对我来说，……感觉好像……”，既避免了中国学生常用I think 的弊病又表达出了同样的含义。这便是语言的魅力。
the foreigner, not by the Chinese people：这里是个泛指的概念。有两种方式可以表达泛指：“a foreigner”，“a Chinese person”或“foreigners”，“Chinese people”。
参考答案：Some think that the movie did depict some points of traditional Chinese movies but the audience could clearly see through the movie’s intended audience. Western audiences appreciate more the beautiful images of traditional China. But to me, it seems like a movie made by a foreigner not a Chinese person.

But how can I say … I think if she is a movie star, then some cameras and other people may pay more attention to her and she may pay more attention to the images of herself. But maybe Zhang Ziyi is a typical young women.
then some cameras and other people may pay more attention to her：“cameras”不是人，怎么能“注意”明星们呢？很明显，说话者想表达的是明星们受到很多人的关注。原句太罗嗦，用“gets a lot of attention”即可。
参考答案：Of course she may be more beautiful than ordinary Chinese woman, but how can I put this … I think as a movie star she gets a lot of attention so she pays more attention to her appearance. But under the make up she is a typical woman.
