common shoes：在这里，要表达鞋子很普通，可以用ordinary或everyday。Common一词意为“普通的”，例如common knowledge（常识），common cold（流行性感冒），common law（基本法）。

Everyday vs. every day——“everyday”是形容词，表示普通、平凡的事情；“every day”中的every是一个形容词，day是一个名词，该短语指每一天。例如： I though I had pneumonia, but it was just an everyday cold.我以为我得了肺炎，其实只是普通的感冒。 Every day, I drink two cups of coffee and read the newspaper. 每天，我都喝两杯咖啡，读一些报纸。
it is good to：“is good to”通常指“对……很好”，这里用它不太恰当。比如说：Mr. Smith is good to his dog, so the dog follows him everyhere. 史密斯先生对他的狗很好，所以这条狗每天都跟着他。但是，“is good for”确实有“对……有益”的意思。例如：Eating fruits and vegetables is good for your health.吃水果和蔬菜对身体有益。
参考答案：You can never have too many. I like wearing different shoes every day. I think when I go home, I will wear different slippers every day, too. That should lift my spirits. Every day brings something new and I like a change of scene.
