I. Republican Presidential hopeful John McCain picked up his biggest endorsement yet President Bush formally announcing his support for the Arizona Senator in a White House meeting. That’s a sharp contrast from eight years ago when they were fighting each other for the GOP(Grand Old Party) nomination.
II. Do-overs in Florida and Michigan? Democratic officials say they are thinking about holding new nominating contests in those states so their votes will count fowards deciding the party’s presidential nominee. Florida and Michigan have been stripped to their delegates for holding their primaries too early.
III. Authorities are looking into a house explosion that killed a man and injured his four-year-old granddaughter. The blast also led to the evacuation for more than 40 houses in this suburban Pittsburg neighborhood. Utility officials say the deadly incident was probably caused by natural gas.
IV. After Patrick Swayze undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer his doctor says the disease is limited and is optimistic about his prognosis.
