Everything has twe sides and the advertising is not an exception, it has both advantages and disavantages. But in my opinion, the good effects of advertising is bigger than the harm effects.
It certainly has many positive aspects. To begin with, the advertising is a good way of competition. The compang spends piles of money on ads. in order to increasing their market shares. Advertising also serves a usefull purpose, it can produce a good image of a product, adding the attractive of produce. So it boosts up the impression of produce in consumers'mind. As we all know, whether the consumer would like to buy the produces, the psychological facter makes the important effect. As we call ie brand loyalty. So some people buy the produces, according to the brand. I think this phenomena appeares common in clothes field. Most important of all , we can easy to choose what I want, so it makes our life more concenience. For example, online shopping becomes more porpular in our daily life. We just need to search the website and choose what we want, thus the shopping is over.
On the other hand, a lot of company spend more money on advertising than on making quality products. Besides, we know that some advertising contain with means higher costs to the consumers, it means the extra costs of advertising will be passed on the consumer. Fot this ,it not benefit for us.
Therefore, in my opinion , the benefit of advertising is bigger than the harm .But we also need to pay attention to the ads, and make a good judement when we buy something.
