Is tree house above the law?
Apr 24, 2008 04:30 AM Western Canada Bureau Chief
Vancouver couple in court defending fort after city says it invades
Vancouver–It's a tree fort grand
enough to make waves in one of this city's oldest neighbourhoods.
But the wooden
pirate ship, nestled in a cedar tree and complete with faux cannons, is taking
fire from a next-door neighbour and Vancouver
City Hall.
Now the case
of the fanciful, now-famous perch, built by an architect for his young sons,
has clambered all the way up to B.C. provincial court.
