today i had an interview for a part-time job
out of my expectation, there were a houseful of people there for the opportunity
and an short self-introduction is needed
i had never thought of that and had not prepared at all
and what's worse , i knew nothing about the product that the company wants to promote
to me , it is just a part-time job and i just want to have a try
even if i failed it is not a big deal .i still have things to do during the vacation
i did not take it seriously from my heart
but the result is that many of the interviees had some preparations
i tried my best to think hard at that time
and when it was my turn , i seemed like nervous and forgot some of my words
now i remind the scene at that moment , i get something from it :
first , i should make a preparation in advance . and in the preparation , informations of the product and company and even the culture of the company should be included . for short , the more i know about the job , the more probability i will gain !
second , i should pay attention to my appearance . even if that one's outlook is not the key for a job , people would prefer to see beauty . and moreover, i should justify my spirit , wear warm smile on my face and behave well . because it was mealtime and i did have lunch at that time and i did not pay much attention to it , the interviewers might think i was in low spirit and a little nervous . anyway , i looked bad ! i promise it will not happen next time and forever ! as i am a person who don't care about appearance but real abilities . however , how can people know your abilities for the first sight . so the first impression is also important . at least it shows your attitude to the job and the interviewers . it shows your politeness and respect . it is indeed a point ! suppose i am an interviewer , i also want to see a polite , well-mannered person .
third, in my introduce , i should refer to my abilities and experiences associated with the job . those are what i should emphasize . i should say something that are meaningful to the interviewers . what is the job about ? which kind of ability does it require? do i meet the requirement? these are all i should know clearly .
in addition , a suitable job should be a "win-win" ,for both me and the company .
it will fit me well and at the same time i can make profit for the company !
whatever the result is , i have the experience . and it makes me know more about job interview !
and i will do better next time

Well I think you are an excellent anaylst in the field of part-time job hunting, which in my mind should be the best position for you if you want to get a part-time job.
Your story stirred umy memory of the interview I got when I tried to find a part-time job, also be a salesperson. Nervousnees mingled with anxieties---that's my feeling back then.
Of course I lost the chance ,but I became stronger thereafter, and that's more important than a job!
