K我先说下第二段的翻译啊，"They fence you in."为什么要译为“融入人群”？以我的理解哈，有些Boundaries的确是自己设定的，所以我把fence当名词，译为：“它只能成为你追求人生目标的障隘。”

To TY:我的个人理解是自己设立的boundary本以为可以使别人不易接近自己，You set them to get other people out.但其实做不到，这些boundary只是让你自己变得不合群，变得孤立, So the boundaries actually stop you from getting along with others. 我把in 和 out 当作是个对比。
"身体是心跳的奴隶"，这样说中国读者可能还是难以接受，因为我们很难把身体受心跳奴役这个隐喻想通。我想还是英语形似和汉语神思的区别。把英语的形似转化为意会的话，我觉得是表达类似于“冲动是魔鬼”这样的暗含意来表现人常常受动物本能的驱使而变得不理智。

To TY: 这字幕要是你做已经绰绰有余了。庄子这句话恰到好处。发现了吧，其实翻译并不能只是英语好，而更需要汉语功底，甚至古文功底，因为现代汉语已经缺少含蓄和韵味，所以现代文学少有经典之作，显得浅薄。所以诗词、儒家著作都是要看的。

把"身体是心跳的奴隶"，改为“冲动是魔鬼”的理解确实更加贴切，我怎么没想到呢，翻译的时候也觉得怪怪的，首先我这个翻译的中国读者就难以想通，呵呵。
我也时常看些诗词，看一句能想很多很多，如果说英语是一种很图像化的语言，我觉得古诗词有时候也是，不知道这么说对不对。
至于boundary的那个翻译，我这智商现在还是想不明白。等我看看《实习医生格蕾》再想想怎么理解。

In the TV series we can see Meredith is drowning in the sea, but she does not panic, more ironically, the background music is "I feel better" or something like that. This very scene relates to a similar one in the Graduate when Dustin Hoffman is floating aimlessly in the swimming pool. I identify with these lines. Faced with insurmountable difficulties and despairs, we wish to run away, disappear, or drift aimlessly. It's human nature. I like Grey's Anatomy anyway.
