【研英核心词汇】从词根词源开始讲——收获的远比想象的要多（试行第一期）

背单词永远是考研的一项重中之重，而对于应试而言，从高频到低频讲提高大家的做题效率，毕竟大家精力有限，将有限的精力优先用在有限的高频词中，每次在做题过程中的重复都是一次印象的加深，也是一次巨大的成就感！由此良性循环，在自信心不断膨胀中不断积极地补充新的单词、做更多的题目，英语能力的飞速提升也不是梦想了。

其次，词根词源背诵单词的方法永远是经久不衰的，因为英文的构词方式决定了这将是最高效的方法。所以我将另外结合《英文字根词源精讲》一书中的部分内容进行词源讲解，提高大家的兴趣，加深对单词的印象！

今天我们开始进行的是 四六级的熟词辟义！

【搭配】an active social life 活跃的社交生活

【字根词源拓展记忆】soci=companion 同伴；to associate 结交来源于拉丁文的socius，意义引申为“社会，社团”。

如：soci 结交 + -able 能=sociable 爱社交的

socialism 社会主义

as- 加强+ soci 结交+ -ate动词词尾=加强结交，成为社团=associate v.联合，联系，联想;n.同伴，合伙人，同事;a.同伴的，准……

con- 一同，使联合+sociate = consociate a.联合的，组合的

dis-否定前缀+sociate =dissociate v.分开，分离；使脱离，分裂

dissociable a.可分离的，自相矛盾的，孤僻的

【常见前缀 AXX】Axx结构的单词就是首字母是a,第二字母与第三字母相同的单词。如：Accomplish，accent,accelerate,accessory，apparent……

它的特点在于从第三个字母到单词结束的部分往往有独立的含义，而这独立的部分前面再加上Ax之后，就会形成新的单词。而这个新形成的Axx结构单词往往对原有部分起强调作用或者是紧密相连的关系。

在明天的节目里，我们着重来看看以AXX打头的单词都有哪些，分析这些单词的思路又将是怎样的。
