Searcher leader Google is finally releasing its own web browser chrome, putting it up against Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.
The company says it's designed to better handle complex web and video applications, comparing to older browsers focused on texts and graphics.
Scott Caesar covers Google as an important explorer.
Really what we are talking about is, you know, a browser, that's constructed for the current Internet, which is really predicted largely, and applications not as much on contents.
We think that can play very nicely into a generation of people that use Internet for that purpose.
Google says, chrome loads pages faster and more securely, with a new JavaScript engine called V8.
It also features a privacy model users can create a hidden window, anything that happens that is not allowed on the computer. Google says it is borrowed from open source project, such as Mozilla Firefox, backed by Google, and Apple's Webkit.
Google plans to make all chrome sources code open to developers.
Chrome also made its users close to Google and this product.
We are going to make the applications, I say, easier to use, within a confined chrome.
Not not so. It's the disadvantage of other applications,
but clearly if you have products better designed by the same company, you know, there can be a certain possibility of seamlessness.
I think that probably will manifest its off the context of Chrome, Google Chrome is now available on a trial version in 43 languages and 100 countries.
