6． 齿龈摩擦音[s]，[z]
发音要决：舌端贴近上齿龈，但是不要贴住，上下牙齿及其接近，但不能碰到一起。气流从舌端和齿龈形成的窄缝中通过泄出，摩擦发音。其中[s]是清辅音，送气但不振动声带；[z]是对应浊辅音，不送气但需振动声带。
这两个音在汉语中都是没有的。有的同学有可能会把[s]发成“斯”，但是其实英语的[s]要比汉语中的这个相似音向后收，且不包含任何元音音素。另外，有些同学容易混淆[z]和汉语中的“自”，听起来反而像英语的另一个辅音[dz]。

字母组合：
“s” as in the word “sound”: see, sun, answer, crisis, gas, taste, case, horse, etc.
“sc” as in the word “science”: scent, scissors, scene, scenery, obscene, etc.
“ss” as in the word “miss”: kiss, fussy, discuss, dismiss, dissipate, pass, etc.
(Note: letter “c” before letters “e, i, y” is pronounced as [s]: century, city, cycle)
“sc” “sch” before letters “a, o, u” usually pronounced as [sk]: school, scan, scarf, scatter, schedule, skim
“z” as in the word “zone”: zebra, zipper, doze, fuzzy, etc.
补充说明：
字母组合ts通常发[ts], 发音类似于汉语中“词”的声母位置，但是英语该辅音不含有任何元音音素。字母组合ds通常发[dz]，类似于汉语中的“自”声母的发音位置，但也不含有任何元音音素。
例如： “z” pronounced as [ts] as in the words “Nazi” and “pizza”
“tz” pronounced as [ts] as in the words “waltz” and “quartz”
