那么，口译考生和新TOEFL考生在考试时，具体应该怎样速记呢？下面我以时间为例，帮助大家逐渐掌握并发掘适合自己的方法。
1．固定时间的表示：
固定的缩写可以表示时间的单位，例如wk—week, m—month, yr—year, hr—hour等等
2．时间区间的表示：
遇到需要表示一段时间的时候，例如可以使用（2m）表示for 2 months, since 2 months ago等等。
3．时间先后的表示：
考生可以使用“.”在表示时间的缩写前后来表示，例如 2 weeks ago可以写为 “.2wk”, 而相对的，2 weeks after就是 “2wk”.. 用这样的方式，既节约时间，又能清楚表示听到的信息，何乐而不为呢？
