托业常识篇：
TOEIC成绩的有效期
托业考试的成绩证书本身没有有效期, TOEIC考试成绩的有效期与考生英语能力的水平保持同样长的时间， 但是，能力是可以随着时间而改善或退步的。 由于这个原因， 越是近期的成绩， 越能有效代表考生的能力。 ETS建议考生每2年参加一次TOEIC考试。
多少分可以通过？
TOEIC考试是一种常模参照考试，不同的考试分数代表应试者在日常工作中使用英语进行交流的能力的差异，因此考试成绩没有及格与不及格之分。听力和阅读部分分开记分，有利于考生具体分析自身语言能力并制定有针对性的学习规划，同时利于TOEIC的机构用户明确员工的能力差异。每部分成绩范围为5至495，总成绩范围为10至990。
很多公司根据特定职能所需要的英语水平，使用TOEIC考试建立自己的分数标准。不同的企业或企业内不同的职位可能要求员工达到某个最低TOEIC分数，因为每项工作都需要与之相对应的英语水平。很多公司提供英语培训来帮助他们的员工达到职位所需的反映能力水平的TOEIC考试目标分数。所以,考生应了解自己的目标企业或目标职位所要求的托业成绩,来为自己制定学习和考试目标.
