Reports from Afghanistan say at least four Afghan policemen and five civilians have been killed in an air attack in the early hour of the morning during clashes with US-led coalition forces.The incident happened in the western province of Farah. In a separate incident in the eastern Paktika province on Saturday night, NATO officials said their forces had killed four other civilians. From kabul, Martin Patience reports.
阿富汗報道在一小時前與美國聯合部隊發生衝撞,至少有4名阿富汗警察和5名民眾在空軍襲擊中被殺。事故發生在Farah的四部。星期六晚上,在Paktika東部又發生了一事件,NATO官員表示他們的軍力殺死了4名民眾。

There was darkness and much confusion when the fighting took place in early hours of the morning. The police had opened fire on a joint convoy of Afghan National Army and foreign troops, believing incorrectly that they were Taliban fighters. On hearing the gunfire, a number of locals have rushed to support the police, foreign troops caught in air strikes during the clashes, killing several policemen and civilians. In a separate incident NATO-led forces admitted killing at least four civilians in the east of the country on Saturday night. A military spokesman said that two mortar shells have landed near a kilometre from their intended target.
