Before the test

Pay attention to the hints your teacher gives about an upcoming test.Write down exatly what you will be tested on.Knowing what the test will cover is half the battle.

Make a review sheet that includes important points from class and reading material.Then your study notes will be in one places.Plus,rewriteing the material will help you remember it.
