Special prosecutors in South Korea have indicted Lee Kun-Hee, the head of the country’s biggest industrial group Samsung on charges of the tax servation evasion and brich breach of trust. 9 other senior executives were also charged. Along with Mr. Lee, they’re ll remained free until their chowstrials. John Sudworth reports from Seoul. The company is accused of hiding more than 4 billion dollars in assets and working to secretly transfer control of the company to the chairman’sSam son through ilelicit accounting practices. But the prosecutors in a statement read live on television said they had found no evidence that Samsung engaged in a systematic attempt to bribe politicians. That claim made by a company insider with was what prompted the investigation in the first place. Samsung has always denied all the allegations.
