This is AP News Minute. I. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton made an unlikely stop on the campaign trail over the weekend, but with 55 delegates at stay camestake in Puerto Rico’s June 1st primary, the US-Caribbean territory has suddenly taken on a great deal of importance. Clinton/ is expected to win easily, but Obama’s now within just 52 delegates of wrapping up the contest. II. John McCain, the man in line to be the Republican nominee for President, is playing host this weekend to 3 of the people who are thought to be on his list of potential running mates. O Floridagovernor Charlie Christ, Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal and McCain’s former rival Mitt Romney will are all spending the weekend at McCain’s ranch in Sedona, Arizona. III. One day after more than a dozen tornados ripped through Kansas, authorities have found 2 bodies in the a car in the central Kansas field. Meanwhile, several tornados responded were spotted in Northwestern Okalahoma Saturday but no injuriesy haves been reported IV. After a long journey from China’s devastated earthquake region, 8 pandas have arrived in Beijing. They will spend the next 6 months at the Beijing Zoo on a Special Olympics visit.
