I.                    The devastation is clear after severe weather ripped through the mid-west yesterday, killing 7 people in Iowa, and a child in Minnesota. Officials say sounder thunderstorms packing large hill hail and tornados ramble rumbled across of the plains, leaving a trail of destruction in its way.

II.                 First close up use views of the north pole of Mars look fairly familiar. Scientists say they’ll resemble a landscape similar to what can be found in Earth permafrost regions. Early indications are the Lander is health after a soft landing.

III.               A large cargo plan split in 2 while trying to take off at Brussels’ airport in Belgium, poor 4 crew members on board the Boeing 747 were slightly injured, and have been hospitalized.

IV.               The nation honors its war day-dead today, saluting the service of men and women in the US military. In Washington, Sunday, the annual national Memorial Day concert was held in on the Capitol grounds. Country music star Rodmney Atkins headlined the event.
