[BBC新闻听写]7月19日 “六方”和伊朗的谈判
Dictation| BBC News with David Legg. The United States and Iran are holding high level talks, the first of their kind for nearly 30 years in a new effort to resolve the dispute over Tehran’s nuclear program. William Burns, a senior State Department official, joined diplomats from other world’s powers for the meeting with Iran’s the chief negotiator. Bethany Bell reports from Geneva where the talks are taking place. The 5 permanent members of the Security Council and Germany want to hear Iran’s response to their call for Tehran to suspend its sensitive uranium enrichment work in return for a package of economic incentives. That’s a demand Iran has repeatedly rejected. But there have been some hence hints that Iran might be willing to freeze its nuclear program at its current level in return for a phrase freeze on new sanctions. Such a move could pave the way for talks on more direct negotiations. |
