YouTube provides videos helping people know the truth. Experts say it is a good thing that people care more about politics.

One of the most perlific prolific groups putting videos up on YouTube is called Why Tuesday. Executive director Jacob Soboroff argues that the US political system in someways discourages people from voting by holding many elections on Tuesdays. That was convenient for farmers in the early days of our nation, but he says that it makes little sense in today’s urban society. Soboroff says Why Tuesday also benefits from videos submissions by ordinary citizens, who recording record encounters with politicians at all levels. “People are becoming journalists themselves and putting their elected officials on the spot of thatabout something made that in the main streetstream media you really don’t hear a lot about and that matters is what we canwe can do to emprise photo purchase visionincrease voter participation.” Keeping ouravary wary eyes on all this is Drake University Political Science professor Arthur Sanders who sees promise in the technology. “The web technology, the way it involves has evolved makes it easier for individuals, over or groups of people to have information sights sites and not just for politics, it infers aboutbut for anything you can imagine, people with an interests in politics besides decide that aren’t going toI’m gonna report on politics. And it’s an empowering shift for citizens because they have a lot more control over it.”
