大家好噢！！有没有参加周四的Background Information Pool ？今天我们继续维纳斯的话题哦。在背景资料中提到，人们设想米洛斯的维纳斯应该是一手执盾，一手持镜以赏其花容月貌。（..it is believed that one held a shield while the other held a mirror so that she could admire her own beauty... ）于是有人想要复原这尊维纳斯雕像。
你同意这样的想法么？
你更倾向目前断臂维纳斯的残缺美，还是支持将她的双臂复原从而十全十美呢？

英语写作很讲究结构。段落最基本的结构是——
主题句topic sentence+ 支持句 supporting sentences.
我们就从这里做起。大家先写出一个主题句，也就是表明你观点的句子，简单明了地说出是赞成复原维纳斯还是反对复原。
然后再写2到3个支持句，对主题句进行解释和论证。
这次我们没有什么答案可言，只期待你们秀出自己的idea!!

In my opinion, Venus de Milo’s missing arms is a unique charm, rather than a defect, of it. I’m not an artist, nor an aesthetician, but I do feel what’s left of the statue’s missing arms matches nicely with the rest of its body. It is said that many had tried to reconstruct its arms out of various imaginations but none proved successful. It is, as believed by many, a good example of perfection out of imperfection.
