This is AP News Minute.
1. Family members of Charlton Heston say the Academy Award winning actor has died. Heston received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2003 but he's best known for his roles in such movies as "Ben-Hur" and “El Cid” (clover0755帮我找到啦~). He was 84.
2. A standoff is growing at West Texas polygamist retreat where a teenage girl filed a report of abuse. Authorities say they are getting resistance from sect leaders at the compound and if they can't reach an agreement they'll remove the sects followers by force.
3. Vladimir Putin shook hands with President Bush and gave the First Lady flowers as the two leaders met for a one-last-round of talks while they are both still in office.
4. It's down to one last game Monday night in the NCAA man's basketball tournament. Kansas will face off against Memphis. The Jayhawks defeated North Carolina 84 to 66 while Memphis beat UCLA 78 to 63.
