After hosting Jordan's King Abdullah yesterday, President Bush meets with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas at the White House today. The two will talk about the middle-east process. Abbas is expected to ask Bush to pressure Isreali to stop building new settlements in the West Bank.
The medical examiners in Cook County, Illinois are trying to determine what killed 5 people in their South Side Chicago home. Authorities say there were signs of forced entry. The 3 men and 2 women were all in their twenties.
Authorities in Indiana (?) say 4 men are in custody and connection with the shooting of a pregnant bank teller during a robbery Tuesday. The gunman is still at large. The teller is in critical condition. Officials say the bullet missed her babies. She’s pregnant with twins.
Pennsylvania state police are looking for the driver of this SUV, who hit a trooper while he was trying to write a ticket. The woman in the car he pulled over is in EMT and called for help, while she stayed with the injured officer. He ended up with bruised elbow and back spring.
