I. A person of interest has been identified in the death of 23-year-old army Spc. Megan Touma, who was seven-month pregnant. She was found dead in a Fayetteville, North Carolina hotel room last week. Officials identify the person of interest as a male student who is learning military special operations. He has not been named or charged in the case.

II. Zimbabwe's president Robert Mugabe is claiming victory in the country's controversial election. African and other world leaders have condemned the results, in which Mugabe was the only candidate. The main opposition candidate took his name off the ballot, citing wide-spread violence inflicted upon his supporters.

III. A European cover girl has died in an apparent suicide after falling from her New York City apartment building. Police are investigating the fall, but two New York newspapers have identified the woman as 20-year-old Ruslana Korshunova.
