The Democratic field in the race for the White House is getting smaller. As New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson is about to drop out, sources close to Richardson say he'll make the announcement later today.

Authorities say a man with a cocaine habit who had a fight with his wife has confessed to throwing his four children off a bridge, presumably killing them. Police say the children were all under four and the search for the bodies is under way in Alabama.

Four people have been killed, dozens injured in a 70-car pileup between Tampa and Orlando. The accident happened on the Interstate 4 when fog and smoke from a brush fire blanketed the road way.
