1.     all:

after all毕竟; above all首先; all in all总的来说; all but仅除…之外; at all根本; in all总共; for all虽然.
 
2.     as:

as long as只要; as far as就…而言; as well as也,除…之外; as soon as一…就…; as a result结果是; as if好像; as well也; as a whole作为个整体; as for至于; as to至于.
 
3.       状语从句的特殊连接词:

but for要不是; in case万一; in case of万一; so that目的是,结果是; regardless of无论,不顾; in that因为; now that既然; in spite of尽管.
 
4.       表比较的词组:

in comparison相比较而言; by contrast相比较而言; in contrast相反; on the contrary恰恰相反; contrary to与…相反的是; in contrast to/with与…相反的是; compared with与…相比较而言; compared A to B把A比作B.
 
5.       表原因的词组:

导致(动词类): contribute to; result in; lead to; be responsible for; account for; bring about;

因为(动词类): result from; lie in; be attributed to; derive from; originate from;

因为(介词类): owing to; thanks to; due to; because of; on account of; provided.

6.       表最好还是:

had better; may as well.
 
7.       than:

other than除了; rather than而不是; more … than与其说…不如说….

8.       一…就…:

as soon as; no sooner … than; hardly … when; scarcely … when.

9.       比较新的介词:

despite尽管; beyond超越; lest除非.
