1.According to your experience, what damages are being done to the enviroment?  
More and more factories are constructing, resulting in the pollution of the atmosphere.Exhausting of dirty water , make people living to use water to lack tightly. Water pollution can be serious.
2.Can you think of some measures to protest forests?

I think the important thing to do is to create a law to foebid the cutting of trees in certain areas. It is not enough to protect the exsiting forests.We must also plant the trees to make new forests.
3. If a chemical plant has to dump a poisonous substance into the river, but its closing-down means that many workers will lose their jobs and the local economy will be affected, the what do you propose to do?

Introduced ecological technology .To set up a watching team to surpervise the plant's sewerage treatment.If it doesn't work out ,we should shut it down . And the goverment should give them subsidies and training programs.

4. Which types of energy should we use: wood, coal, petroleum, water power, nuclear energy or solar energy? Give your reasons.

I think wood and coal  we shoule avoid using them .Because it takes a long time for the tree to grow, and the coal is less.

                              
Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world. For example, cars have made the air unhealthy for people to breathe and poisonous gas is given off by factories. Trees on the hills have been cut down and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers.Furthermore, wherever we go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. Pollution is, in fact, threatening our existence.
     The earth is our home and we have the duty to take care of it for ourselves and for our later generations. Fortunately, more and more people have realized these problems. Measures have been taken to cope with these problems by the government. Laws have been passed to stop pollution. I hope the problem will be solved in the near future and our home will become better and better.

    全世界的环境问题变得越来越严重。例如汽车污染的空气影响了人们的呼吸，工厂释放污染的气体，山上的树木被砍伐，污水不断被排人河里。另外，无论我们走到哪里，到处可见随意丢弃的垃圾。事实上，污染正威胁我们的生存。
    地球是我们的家园，我们有责任为我们自己和我们的后代去照顾好它。庆幸的是，愈来愈多的人们已经意识到这些问题。政府已经采取了很多措施去解决这些问题，法律已被通过以制止污染。我希望这些问题在不远的将来能得到解决，我们的家园变得越来越好。

      Environmental problems are becoming more and more serious all over the world. With the development of industry and agriculture, cars make great noises and give off poisonous gas. Trees on the hills have been cut down,and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers. Furthermore,wherever we go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. The whole ecological balance of the earth is changing. Massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to man's existence.
     We must face the situation that exists and take actions to solve our environmental problems. For instance, new laws must be passed to place strict control over industrial pollution, the pub!ic must receive the education about the hazard of pollution and so on. We hope that all these measures will be effective and bring back a healthful environment.

    全世界的环境问题在变得越来越严重。随着工农业的发展，汽车制造噪音、排放毒气，山上的树木被砍伐，污水不断被排入河里。另外，无论我们走到哪里，到处可见随意丢弃的垃圾。整个地球生态平衡正在改变，环境的巨大破坏已带来负面影响，甚至对人类生存带来巨大威胁。
    我们必须面对现实，采取行动解决环境问题。例如必须通过新的法律严格控制工业污染问题，大众必须接受污染危害的教育等。我们希望这些措施的有效实施能带给我们一个健康的环境。

                                   
April Fools' Day is a day to play jokes on others, No one knows how this holiday began but people think it first started in France.

In the 16 th century, people celebrated New Year's Day from March 25 to April 1. In the mid—1560s King Charles IX changed it from March 25 to January 1. But some people still celebrated in on April 1, so others called them April Fools.

Each country celebrates April Fools' Day differently. In France, people call the April Fools “April Fish”. They tape a paper fish to their friends' backs to fool them. When he or she finds this , they shout “April Fish!”

In England, people play jokes only in the morning. You are a “noodle” if someone fools you. In Scotland, April Fools' Day is 48 hours long. They call an April Fool “April Gowk”. Gowk is another name for a cuckoo bird.

In the America, people play small jokes on their friends and any other people on the first of Aprol. They may point down to your shoe and say, “ Your shoelace is untied.” If you believe them and look down to see, you are an April Fool then .                                                
                                         

1. Get in someone's hair
如果你get in someone's hair，你并没有爬到别人的头上！其实，意思是你烦扰到了他们－可能是你侵入了他们的私人空间。例如"Susan was trying to prepare dinner, but her children were getting in her hair!" 意思是Susan的孩子们在她做饭的时候烦她。如果有人烦扰到了你，你就可以说，"Get out of my hair!"

2. When pigs fly
猪可不能飞起来！这是不可能的事，因此正是成语本身想表达的意思。例如，当你听到有人说，"Do you think Mary will quit her job now that she's pregnant?"另一个人就回答，"Yeah, when pigs fly! There is no way she is giving up her career!"当他或她在使用表达方式 when pigs fly时，意思是Mary绝对不可能辞职。

3. Hit the ceiling
天花板可离我们的头远着呢，那么要撞上天花板也不是件容易的事－除非你非常生气！如果有人hits the ceiling意思是他们正表现出非常生气的样子。例如，"When Carol's son got an F on his report card, she hit the ceiling!"意思是Carol对她儿子考试不及格非常的愤怒。

4. Knock someone's socks off
现在，要pull掉别人的袜子还有些可能－但是要knock掉别人的袜子要该怎么做呢？当然是通过让他们惊奇兴奋并印象深刻喽！例如，"You should see Tom's new car! It'll knock your socks off, it's so amazing!"意思是Tom的车令人称奇！

5. Bite the bullet
如果要试着咬一颗子弹味道会是怎样呢？不太好吧。那么为什么会有人bite the bullet呢？只有在勇敢的忍受或面对困难的处境时他们才会这么做。例如"She had to bite the bullet and give in to her boss's unreasonable demands."意思是她在老板提出苛刻要求时表现的勇敢坚强。

车是不能开到墙上去的，那么谁能drive you up a wall？是惹你讨厌的人！例如，"My mom is driving me up a wall! She won't ever let me stay out late."意思是母亲不让我在外面呆得晚让我感到非常的讨厌。
