I make a satisfying, comfortable living working quietly in my cubicle. But in my other life, I am a pianist, bringing to life with my own hands the genius of Bach, Mozart and Chopin.While __1__my engineering degree, I worked as a waitress in the dining hall of a retirement community. But the federal number show that the OxyContin use by 12 graders is up to 40% in just three years. OxyContin is an effective medication for severe pain,__(2)___ , it can be as addictive as heroin. More than 1 in 20 high school seniors acknowledge taking OxyContin. NPR’s C. spoke with the young people and their families. Teenagers are all kinds of prescription drugs. They’re the number 2 most used drugs behind marijuana.
