这个板块越来越红火，有大家的功劳。记得在这个板块初的一篇文章中有一次提到Pandora’s box，今天向讲一讲它究竟源自何处。
它当然来自于希腊神话。普罗米修斯（Prometheus）盗取天火赐予人类。主神宙斯（Zeus）恼怒之余决定对世人进行报复，用灾祸抵消火种带给世人的幸福。宙斯命他的儿子火与锻冶之神斐斯托斯（Hephaestus）用黏土制成一个美貌女子，又令众神赋予她各种特性，给她取名潘多拉（Pandora）。普罗米修斯的弟弟厄庇墨透斯（Epimetheus）顺从宙斯之意，与潘多拉结为夫妻。众神所赠礼品为一个密封小盒，里面装有种种危害人类的邪祟。婚后，潘多拉出于好奇，竟不顾劝戒将盒子打开，顷刻间盒中的灾祸、疾病、恶习、死亡、贫困、饥饿、谋杀……纷纷飞散开来，飞向整个世界。她急忙关上盒子，却正好把希望关在里面。从此人间疾病流行，灾祸横生，却到处找不到希望。此语也可以使用box of Pandora的形式，用以指代那些外表迷人却暗藏灾祸的人或东西。

不知道最近什么时候打开了潘多拉的盒子，最近真的是太不顺了。
今天终于肯定没被SEARS录取，虽然那次复试发挥不好，可总存有一点点的希望，终于得接受事实了。。。
有种被打到谷地的感觉，反应迟钝，什么也不想做，感觉超失败。。。

That's a really good expression. Pandora’s box -- I wish I would never been in that situation. It's horrible. It's pity that tragedyor something really harmful happened just because of one's curiosity.

Apparently not.It makes us feel terrible when people hear that kind of thing as well as Vodmor from HarryPotter the book.I hpoe it could be a box full of dreams.
其实我觉得潘多拉这个名字挺好听的。不过最好不要启拉，否则进不了外资公司，哈哈。
