There was a magnificent increase of the nuclear power in 1980, with the percentage multiplied by 11, and we can witness the margin of coal crept up to 51% as well. In contrast, the portion of Hydro subsided by 4%, and the proportion of Natural Gas outpercentaged that in 1980 by 9%.(123 words)

In the year of 1970, Coal accounted for comparatively a majority of source of energy in the US, whereas Nuclear covered a tiny proportion. Twelve percent and sixteen percent were shared by Oil and Hydro respectively. The remaining 24 percent was due to Natural Gas.
Compared to that of 1970, the portion of Coal in 1980 crept up by 4 percent, while Nuclear was tenfold. There was a decline of 9% in Natural Gas. We can also witness that the margin of Hydro edged down to twelve percent. Oil almost remained plane.

今天的作业麻烦老师给看一下,大约能得几分。

The two pie charts depict, from 1970 to 1980, the varying percentages of the fire energy sources, from which the electric energy was produced in the US.

In 1970, the coal originally made up comparatively a majority(about 47%) of the energy sources whereas the nuclear only constituted a tiny portion, with 1 percent. A further 28 percent was jointly shared by oil ang hydro. And the remaining 24 percent was due to natural gas.

You may have noticed how things had changed in those 10 years. In 1998, the percentage of coal was 51 percent,just a 4 percent increase from 1970, while the nuclear was approximately 10 times as much as that of 1970. The year of 1980 also witnessed the drop in both the share of natural gas and hydro, accompanied with percentages decreased from 24% to 15% and 16% to 12% respectively. What is worth further mentioning is that oil’s portion had remained relatively balanced as compared with that of 1970, just a minor decline by 1 percent.

The proportion of Engineering was doubled when target changed into 104,800 55-69 year-olds hold a degree. Medicine and Architecture crept up within a small range. There were decreases of 5% and 8% in Administration and Veterinary Agriculture respectively. The remaining fields of study, including Social Science, Law, Education and Other almost stay unvarying.

All the statistics can be categorized into three stages with the equilibrium of birth and death rates in the first decade, the predominance of birth rate from 1910 to 1930 and the predominance of the death rate in the following 40 years.
Both death and birth rate almost stay steady over the period from 1900 to 1910. While death rate was keeping balanced in the meantime of 1910 and 1920, birth rate surged and subsided, reaching the summit at 60% in 1920. We can witness that birth rate edged down generally between 1930 and 1970, though it rallied from the year of 1940. Meanwhile, death rate rose and fell evenly.

小新老师好...我是你班上的学生,听了你的写作课,总得觉得还是受益非浅的..不过有几点写作的疑问..
首先是文章模式上.我个人揣测,你教给我们的这些一套套的模式是用来应付下IELTS考试的.与真正的写好文章还是两码事.对吗? 此外,虽然说,你教给我们的招数功力确实很强,但毕竟在你手下飘过的学生就一把一把的,每人都用几乎相同的模式,会不会大大减弱攻势呢?如果,要在应试技巧的基础之上,如何让自己的文章个性鲜明呢?
另外个疑问是关于短语单词的.我看了一些分数高的例文.最大的观感是用词上的"华丽";,且不说用法是否正确,外行人总有被一下震到的感觉...我的外教则非常忌讳这点,他们普遍非常厌恶中国学生写的IELTS作文..最重要的理由就是用BIG WORDS,那些甚至外国人自己都不认得的单词中国人看起来用的得心应手.而且他们认为,用最简单的表达方式来阐述观点清晰明了最好..请问,他们的观点和你的有冲突吗?

As we can see from the 1st pie chart, in the year of 1970, Coal accounted for comparatively a majority of the source of energy in the US, with 47 percent. While Nuclear occupied a tiny portion of only 1 percent. 12 percent of the total source of energy was shared by Oil, and Hydro took up a relatively large percentage, which is 16 percent. The remaining 24 percent was due to Natural Gas.
A decade later, the proportion of Coal inceased by 4 percent. As the tiniest source of energy in 1970, Nuclear rocketed by 10 times. The year 1980 also witnessed that the percentage of Oil almost kept constant. There was a decrease of 9 percent of Natural Gas over the 10 years. And Hydro in 1970 outpercentage it in 1980 by 4 percent.

那要看职责归属好伐。

做职责范围的就叫尽责,做范围之外的才叫好,而且做职责范围之外的还要看基于什么用心。举例来说,如果你是超级性感大美女,那么你被一个男性老师批改的可能性就要大于一个男生和一个长相一般的女生。生活就是这么实在好伐。

我不了解这几位老师,只是客观评述。不要整天把好不好挂嘴边。

一个人好不好哪是那么容易判断的。

It is obvious that both death rate and birth rate remained sluggish at the begining of the century, but this trend did not last long. Within the next 20 years, the birth rate rose and fell evenly , reaching an apex at 60 %。in 1920 whereas the death rate stayed comparatively stable with only a tiny reduction to 35%。. What is still worth mentioning is that compared to the fluctuation of the birth rate within a range of 10%。, there was a moderate growth of the death rate during 1930 and 1940 followed by an ebbing untill the year of 1970.

These two pie charts describe the discrepancies of post-school qualification between Australians within two different age groups.

The number of Australians aged between 25 and 34 holding a degree amounts to 347500. Administration and social sciences&arts account for comparatively a majority of those main fields of study, with respectively 19.08% and 19.48%. An approximate one third of those fields have been jointly shared by education(14.76%) and science、maths and computers(18.19%). The remaining proportion are due to veterinary and agriculture(2.10%),engineering(9.35%), architecture(1.84%), medicine(7.4%) , law(5.3%)and others(2.24%).

Things are noticeably different for those aged between 55 and 69, of whom the number has nearly tripled that of their younger counterparts. The percentages of administration, education, law, science, maths and computers for the older are all lower, whereas comparatively more preference has been given to engineering(19.27%), architecture(2.96%), medicine(11.35%), and other fields(2.48%), with engineering drawing approximately 10% more attention. What is also worth our heed is that the proportions of veterinary and agriculture for those two age groups are almost equivalent to each other.

其实,我个人觉得这篇书上范文的思路更容易上手些,而且比较清晰.小新的思路对于一部分同学来说,写作时稍有不慎就很容易让人觉得象一团乱麻.

In the year of 1980, Oil almost remained stable at nearly 12%. Moreover, the percentage of Coal crept up by 4%, and Nuclear rocketed by 10 times. However, we can witness that the portion of Hydro ebbed by 4%. At the same time, there was a dramatical decrease in the margin of Natural Gas by approximately 10%.

All the trends can be categories into 4 groups with falling in items such as Food, rising in items including Housing, fluctuating in Household goods and services and stabilization in Other items. The general trend of Household goods and services undulated comparatively dramatically, reaching a peak at 14% in 1996 and bottoming out at 7% in 1977. This was the similar case with the trend of Recreation, entertainment and education, which was opposite with the trend of Tobacco. Food crept down smoothly, averaging out at nearly 20%. Alcoholic drink reached a plateau at 7% and subsided to 4%. So did Fuel, light and power. Other goods and services ebbed within a range of 6%. Other items, not making its debut until 1977, remained stable.

What is worth mentioning is that people spend more expenditure on Recreation, entertainment and education, which means people begin to pay more attention to the mental life.

As is displayed in two bar charts respectively, the proportions of people employed in various industries fluctuated in Britain and China, from 1970 to 2000. The tables below illustrated the specific statistics for each industry in Britain and China respectively.

All trends can be categorized into three groups with risings of agriculture in Britain, Computer Industry, Finance in China, fluctuating of Computer Industry, Finance in Britain, Manual Labour in both countries and Falling of Agriculture and Manual Labour in China.

In Britain, the percentage of Agriculture crept up, averaging out at nearly 20%. In the same period of time, Finance rose and fell evenly within a small range of 10%. The biggest difference occurred in Manual, which slumped, reaching a summit at 61% in 1970, hitting a trough at 20% in 1990 followed by rallying in 2000. On the contrary, Finance fluctuated just in an opposite way.

Different from Britain, Agriculture in China subsided within a range of 30%, which still occupied a majority of the total except for the year of 1970. While, Computer Industry rose considerably, reaching a peak at 40% in 2000 and bottoming out at 5% in 1970. Manual Labour varied, averaging out approximately at 30% and Finance is the opposite case with it.

From the perspective of employment, industries which rose belong to booming industries. Besides, what is worth mentioning is that since the overall percentages in 1970 in Britain and 1970, 1980 in China added up above 100%, it suggested that some people were engaged in not only one industries. Conversely, the overall percentages in 1980 and 2000 in Britain added up below 100% which indicated that some people were engaged other industries unlisted.

As is revealed in the tables of the average scores marked by boys and girls in different ages throughout several school subjects respectively, there were different perceptions on each subject between boys and girls, also among different ages.

For boys, Sports always accounted for highest marks in all the ages and as the age growing, the mark increased gently. Science was also marked high, but it rose and fell slightly with 74% in the age of 13 and 70% in the age of 7. The average percentage marks of Geography surged and subsided, reaching a peak with 70% in 13 years old bottoming out at 63% when boys were 6 years younger. Science was similar with the trend of Geography. There was a considerable decreasing of Languages which indicated boys’ interests towards it crept down as they growing.

Contrary to boys, the marks of Languages scored by girls soared within a comparatively large range of 13% whilst, Sports decreased from 65% in the age of seven to 60% in the age of 15. Both Maths and Science fluctuated, bottoming out with 64% and 70% respectively in age 13, but relying with 68% and 72% in age 15 respectively. The mark of Geography went up and down evenly within a tiny range of 2%.

According to the tables, we can witness that marks in various subjects scored by children differed as they getting older and there were obvious differences between girls and boys on their changing marks of Languages and Sports.

As can be seen from the first graph, watching TV accounted for comparatively a majority of the whole time, with approximately 32% whereas the proportion of dining out occupied in the neighborhood of 23%. In relation to daily communication, a further margin of leisure time was shared by taking with friend and family, with 21% and 18% respectively. The remaining 6% was due to other activities.

Judging from the latter chart, we witness immense changes in people’s allocating their leisure time in Europe, resulting from the emergence of computer game, making its debut with a huge portion of 27%.
