Signal trace
On a printed circuit board, a signal trace is the printed circuit equivalent of a wire for carryingelectricalsignalss. Each trace consists of a flat, narrow part of the copper foil that remains after etching. Signal traces are usually narrower than power / ground traces because their current carrying requirements are often much less.
