Hello, everybody, this is Bruce. Lesson sixteen, “study or flunk?” flunk You are flunk. = You’ll be flunk. Of course, both are fine. I should say both are terrible. I hope you don’t flunk and I hope you won’t be flunked. If you don’t study, you’ll fail. You will be flunked. Well answered. I didn’t study. Well, the most import thing is to get enough rest and relax yourself before the exam so that you can think well, and then you must prepare your mind by reviewing all the material. Of course review means go over or to study again your notes. I used to study with my classmates then we could ask questions and answer questions to help each other. The story was exaggerated. Because Bruce has been with me of past 10 years, I guess. You are exaggerating. Then how many years? About six years. Well Bruce told me several times that his father was very strict with him. Once he flunked the exam, then he got very terrible punishment. Well, He said I am useless, so he sent me to work with Peter. He was quiet disappointed, and that really hurt me. Stop exaggerating. How come you flunked? = Why did you flunk? Why is she crying? = How come she is crying? Why did he come late? Why did you steal my money? I thought so Do you think Peter is handsome? Yes, I think so. I think not. = I don’t think so.
